Quod worked with TJ Morris and Miller Development to successfully secure hybrid planning permission, following a call-in by the Secretary of State, for 2.2m sq ft of industrial and logistics floorspace in the Green Belt, with heights of up to 42 metres. Quod acted as the expert witness for both planning and socio-economic matters during the public inquiry.
Consent was granted in November 2021, with no pre-commencement conditions on the detailed element, allowing the 1.1 sq ft TJ Morris building to commence immediately.
Quod is acting on the Reserved Matters Applications for the outline elements of the proposals, with applications for Units 2, 3 and 4, all over 300,000 sq ft each, being submitted in 2022.
