Nant Llesg Surface Mine, Land west of Rhymney, South Wales

Quod is instructed to provide strategic planning advice to support proposals for a surface mine at Nant Llesg to recover an important resource of Welsh Dry Steam Coal. The site covers approximately 478 ha of land with an estimated coal reserve of approximately 6 million tonnes. If consented, Nant Llesg would become the most significant coal mine in Wales.
