Maria Fidelis, London

Quod were instructed by LCR and Camden Council Properties to assist in securing full planning permission for the former Maria Fidelis School in Camden, London. The proposals were given resolution to grant permission at planning committee on 23 January 2020 for the redevelopment of the site to include the change of use of the former school building to office use, use of the existing gym as a multi-use community facility, and the erection of a two storey Construction Skills Centre along with the provision of public open space. The Site is to be acquired by HS2 in ten years for the development of a new station, and therefore permission was granted as a meanwhile use for a period of 10 years. Quod continue to advise on implementation of the proposals.

The project has been shortlisted in the Meanwhile Category by the NLA for it’s annual awards.
