On behalf of Kier Property, Quod provided advice from pre-acquisition stage through to securing full planning permission from Luton Borough Council for a logistics and trade park consisting of 3 logistics units and 10 trade units totalling 110,000 sq ft.
The development was designed to appeal to a variety of occupiers to ensure that when completed, the site will be readily available to meet the needs of a range of tenants. The units were also designed to allow the needs of the occupiers to be met whilst protecting the existing residential dwellings from any amenity effects resulting from the development, such as the inclusion of a landscaping buffer and acoustic fence along residential boundaries. Once complete the units will be occupied by warehouse operators, industrial users and trade counter operators.
