City of Lincoln Council recently granted planning consent for a 150 bed 4* lifestyle hotel led, including bar, restaurant, conferencing space alongside flexible retail units and high quality landscaping.

Quod’s Leeds team, acting on behalf of Patrizia, managed the application through pre-application discussions, design review and community engagement, to negotiating the consent. Heritage and archaeology were key planning considerations, and Quod led the project team through negotiations with heritage stakeholders, demonstrating the extensive public benefits and securing the consent with favourable conditions.

The scheme is a commercial response to the changing nature and function of high streets and the retail sector, and is one of many city (and town) centre repurposing schemes we are advising on.
