Hackney Bridge

Quod has obtained time-limited planning permission to allow this site in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to be occupied by Hackney Bridge, a meanwhile use scheme until the last phase of the East Wick and Sweetwater development comes forward.

Hackney Bridge will provide a complementary retail, employment and community offer to the local area and will act as a stepping stone for businesses operating within Hackney Wick and Fish Island, or those looking to locate in the area. The meanwhile use will look to establish East Wick and Sweetwater as a destination and aid place making.

Quod has advised Make Shift since 2017. Hackney Bridge is now open and offers a range of interim uses, opportunities for start-ups and many more social, community and employment benefits for the local area.
