Four Ashes, South Staffs

Quod provided Planning and Environmental Impact advice to Bericote Properties Limited to help them achieve a full planning consent for a major commercial development to provide approximately 105,000 square metres of industrial, logistics and distribution floorspace at Four Ashes, South Staffs. This EIA development brought international car parts manufacturer Gestamp Tallent to the area, which represented a major investment and display of confidence in Staffordshire and the West Midlands from international business. The flagship unit was designed to accommodate Gestamp’s need for a modern, purpose-built plant in the UK to match the quality of their world class facilities in other countries. The development is expected to create an investment in excess of £120 million in the local economy with up to 1,525 new jobs retained and created.
