Rita Carmona

Rita joined Quod in July 2021 as a Planner after graduating from the University of Westminster in MA Urban and Regional Planning.

Prior to joining Quod, Rita gained valuable experience in the private sector working as a freelance within London’s context for 2 years. Rita has worked in planning policy, development management and GIS mapping in a local planning authority for more than 15 years in Portugal. She has experience in the preparation of Local Plans and their supporting evidence base, including statistical and socio-economics studies, strategic environmental planning, infrastructure delivery plans. She has prepared Local Plan consultations and major strategic national infrastructure projects impact assessments to support the decision making process.

Outside work, Rita is a keen music lover and does no miss a chance to attend gigs and festivals across Europe. Rita also loves travelling, exploring new cultures and gastronomic delights.
