RTPI General Assembly
Quod’s own Claire Hepher-Davies was re-elected to the RTPI General Assembly in September 2019. The Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is the UK’s leading planning body for spatial, sustainable and inclusive planning and is the largest planning institute in Europe with over 25,000 members.
Victoria Hills, RTPI Chief Executive, says ‘We help our members to achieve their full potential, and we strive to put planning and planners centre stage of the built environment professions’.
The RTPI General Assembly is voted for each year by its members. It aims to act as a forum for debate about the development of planning policy and practice, the corporate policy of the Institute and other issues relevant to the objectives of the Institute.
Claire’s term starts in 2020, and at General Assembly she aims to represent young, private sector and female planners and to promote excellence in the town planning profession.
Congratulations to all newly elected members and good luck for the year to come.
