Quod wins £17m for Holyhead in Levelling Up Fund
We are delighted that Anglesey’s Levelling Up Fund bid has been successful.
The bid ‘Holyhead: A culture and heritage driven transformation’ is designed to reverse the decline of Holyhead Town Centre and increase pride of place for residents. It includes a vacant property programme to refurbish derelict buildings and expansions or improvements to key town centre assets including the play centre, St Cybi’s Church and Roman Fort, the Ucheldre Arts Centre and beach frontages. It will improve the public realm and make visual enhancements to buildings on the high street to increase pride of place.
In total the bid will bring forward £22.5m of investment, including £17m from the Levelling Up Fund which will deliver £54m of benefits to the local community.
Quod led the bid on behalf of the Isle of Anglesey County Council – for more information on this bid, or our wider work on business cases and funding applications, please contact Andrew Hunt or Lucy Dean
