Quod secures hybrid planning permission for a new masterplan at Grand Union, Brent
On behalf of St George, Quod secured unanimous planning approval from Brent Council’s planning committee for 2,426 new homes, 2.3 ha of new open space and buildings of up to 28 storeys high.
Quod worked closely with St George, Brent Council and the Greater London Authority to develop a new masterplan for Grand Union, formerly known as Northfields.
The development ensures that this strategic brownfield site, which sits on the Grand Union Canal and River Brent, delivers the aims of the Alperton Growth Area and maximises the delivery of public benefits including extensive areas of publicly accessible open space and affordable housing.
