Quod Joins the Stonewall Diversity Champions Programme
We are pleased to announce that Quod are now members of the Stonewall Diversity Champions Programme, as part of our work to create a more inclusive environment for LGBT employees.
Stonewall is Europe’s largest LGBT charity. Their work in the United Kingdom is focused on campaigning for LGBT rights, including the repealing of Section 28 of the Local Government Act, and contributing to the equalisation of LGBT rights through the Criminal Justice Act 2003 and Equality Act 2010. More recently they have campaigned for reform of the Gender Recognition Act. Alongside this, Stonewall also focus on engaging employers in developing best practice for treatment and support for their LGBT employees.
Our commitment to creating a more inclusive environment for LGBT employees forms part of our wider Equality, Diversity and Inclusion initiative and we will be guided by Stonewall through their experience to raise awareness and engage with LGBT issues.
We look forward to working with Stonewall and with other members of the Diversity Champions Programme across the built environment sector to make sure we can respond to LGBT issues and can be as supportive as possible to our LGBT staff.
