Quod Golf Day 2016
On 8th September the annual Quod Golf Day took place at Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire. As with previous golf days, this was our opportunity to show appreciation to some of our favourite golfing clients with a day of golf in wonderful surroundings. The day was helped by yet more glorious weather, which is becoming a theme for this event!
Having played the Palmerston course last year, this year’s competition was played out on the arguably more picturesque Melbourne Course, featuring more mature woodland meandering around the challenging Broadwater Lake. We were also pleased to see clients partaking in a beginners introduction to golf on the excellent Palmerston Golf Academy facilities, which proved popular again for those looking to get into the game.
Prizes were at stake for team and individual competitions, with the top prize of the day (individual) being taken by John Badman of CallisonRTKL, with team winners coming from a combination of Travis Perkins (Will Moss), Staunton Whiteman (Hamish Whiteman) and Quod (Tim Rainbird and Adrian Fox). Special mention should also go to Matthew Dayman and Matt Dawkins, both of Lend Lease.
