New Year Promotions at Quod
The Directors at Quod are pleased to announce that, in addition to a number of promotions across the business, Elva Phelan, Matt Sherwood, Richard Frudd and Tom Vernon are promoted to Director.
Elva specialises in socio-economics and supporting the case for development on large scale regeneration projects. She has a wide range of experience on projects across London and throughout the UK, including the mixed-use development such as the Shell Centre and infrastructure projects such as the Northern Line Extension. Her areas of focus include socio-economic impact statements, economic and employment studies, social infrastructure demand and delivery, open space and play space assessments and demographic modelling.
Matt has been involved in a wide range of planning and infrastructure projects including North Quay at Canary Wharf, a new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point C and the Legacy developments on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. He is responsible for co-ordinating large design and consultant teams and submitting major and strategic planning applications as well as advising on Local Plan Examinations.
Richard has proved an essential part of the Quod North team. Project experience ranges from micro-managing the performance of existing assets through to strategic promotion of large scale and complex development schemes. He has a strong reputation amongst clients and peers due to the application of his extensive knowledge of the planning system, allied to his tenacity and attention to detail.
Tom has displayed a strong track record of representing client interests and delivering planning permissions for a range of developments across the UK. His experience spans a broad scope of developments, including retail, residential, commercial, religious and education proposals for clients in several sectors.
All four of the new Directors have proved themselves as invaluable members of the business.
In addition to the Directorial appointments; Georgie Church, James Beynon, Mike Humphrey, Poppy Carmody-Morgan, Tom Hatch, Tony Gallagher, Vicky Lochead are all promoted to Associate. A number of Planners and Consultants across the business were also promoted to Senior Consultants and Senior Planners.
This is the largest set of promotions in Quod’s history, with 17 individuals rising in the ranks of the business – reflecting what has been a very busy and successful year.
