MIPIM 2020 ‘The Future is Human’
Quod will be at MIPIM for their fifth successive year.
Quod Leeds team, represented by Tim Waring and Richard Frudd, are again sponsoring the Leeds City Region LEP delegation. The London team, represented by Tom Hatch and Angie Fenton, are similarly supporting a range of clients as part of the wider London delegates.
This year’s theme is ‘The Future is Human’, given it is forecast that by 2050 the world will have 9.7 billion inhabitants, of which 70% will live in urban areas. It is important that towns and cities around the world are able to adapt to human needs and address issues such as diversity, social impact, wellbeing and communication, amongst other matters. With this in mind Tim Waring will be joining the Leeds LEP panel discussion (on ‘Designing for health and well-being’) on the 11th of March at 3pm. This session will focus on examples of how urban design can improve mental health, contribute to human well-being and bring about positive social impact.
