Leeds Waterfront Enhancement Fund and Charter.

Tim Waring chairs the Leeds Waterfront Group of West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce. On the 3rd October he announced, at the Leeds Property Forum, the release of the Waterfront Enhancement Fund as well as the Waterfront Charter.

The Fund and Charter are key tools in the regeneration strategy for the City Centre’s waterways, which have suffered from neglect over the years, while in contrast the rest of the City Centre has seen major economic growth.

With the increasing level of regeneration coming forward in Leeds’ South Bank, and the City Centre activity moving southwards, the waterways are becoming central to the expanding City’s commercial core.
