Bank Station Capacity Upgrade Project Approved

Quod would like to congratulate London Underground Limited (LUL) on the news that the Secretary of State for Transport has decided to make the Order and direct that planning permission be deemed to be granted, giving Transport for London the powers to construct and operate a new section of railway. This development will see the capacity at Bank Station upgraded. The TWAO was made following a public inquiry into the application in April/May 2015.

The planned works involve a major upgrade of the Bank Monument Station Complex to provide greatly improved passenger access, circulation and interchange and improved emergency fire and evacuation protection measures.
