Axis Square Development

On 20th July 2017 Quod gained unanimous support from Birmingham City Council’s Planning Committee for the second phase of London and Continental Railways’ Axis Square development.  This major mixed use scheme will replace The Axis, an 11-storey 1970s-era office block that lies between some key locations and schemes in Birmingham city centre including Arena Central, the Mailbox, Centenary Square and New Street Station.  The new Axis Square will connect these sites via a high quality landscaped public square surrounded by over 114,000sqm of office space in four buildings, including a 23-storey Fletcher Priest-designed tower.
