Quod complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge
On Saturday 1st September, 34 Quoddies marched on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks for Centrepoint, our chosen Charity of the Year!
It was a race against time to complete the 25 mile challenge before nightfall, just another little test thrown into the mix by an outstandingly late coach driver.
But the team rose to the challenge like a duck to water, or Russel Crowe in Gladiator, striding up and down the Peaks within 10 hours. A small team, led by the intrepid Stacey from our accounts team, conquered it in a time of 7hours and 35 minutes!
All in all it was a huge success, a great opportunity for the city folk to nervously sample fresh water springs, avoid encountering a bull disguised in a field of cows, manoeuvre around red eyed sheep inhabiting the road and raising over £4000 for Centrepoint!
